What happened

On the night of September 2, a Russian strike on Odesa injured at least eight people, including one child. Strikes on Kyiv Oblast caused a fire in two townhouses in Vyshneve; there were no deaths.

On August 24, Russian missile and drone strikes hit Odesa, causing fires at two Epicentr construction hypermarkets. Food warehouses and energy infrastructure were damaged; five people were injured, and three were hospitalized in moderate condition.

Why it matters

On August 29, a strike on the village of Myla in the Bucha district of Kyiv Oblast killed at least 27 people and injured 42. On August 21, a combined attack on Kyiv killed at least 15 people and injured more than 40. On August 29, 381 people, including 59 children, were evacuated from the emergency zone.
