In parallel, Anthropic signed a $35 billion agreement with cloud provider Lambda, which is backed by Nvidia. The data center is being built in Nueces County, Texas, with capacity of about 350 megawatts; the facility is being developed by Hut 8. A week earlier, the company announced a $45 billion contract with Nscale for a data center in West Virginia.

In the same sector, Nvidia is investing $3.5 billion in MediaTek through convertible bonds. MediaTek will incorporate Nvidia's NVLink Fusion and NVHBM technologies for data center components. In addition, Nvidia is in preliminary talks with South Korean AI chip developer Rebellions about a possible technical partnership, investment, or acquisition. The talks are at an early stage and may not lead to a deal.

Why it matters

Snowflake raised its annual product revenue forecast to $6.07 billion, exceeding the average analyst estimate of $5.86 billion. Quarterly product revenue grew 37% to $1.49 billion, and more than 2,000 new customer accounts started using AI assistant CoCo. For Anthropic, external sources set the scale: the company expects to match or surpass the record IPO size of SpaceX.
